It all begins with an idea, a passion, and a person. Christina (Chrissy) began her Kundalini Yoga journey at the age of 18 when her mom invited her to join her in a class that she was taking. Chrissy instantly fell in love and continued to practice on and off for 20 years before committing herself to being a Kundalini Yoga instructor. Through Yoga Farm Ithaca, she obtained her 200hr YTT in Kundalini. She did not stop there and has obtained her 300hr YTT in Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga, as well as continuing her Kundalini training at 300hr YTT and 200hr Qigong TT. Because Kundalini has helped her so much in her life, she has taken advanced training in Kundalini Rebirthing.

These are not the only offerings that Alchemist’s Familiar’s Apothecary and Chrissy offer, however. She is in the process of obtaining her Clinical Aromatherapy, Master Clinical Herbalism, and Flower Essence certifications through Heart of Herbs School. She looks to help you on your individual journey of your own health in conjunction with your doctor prescribed treatments in the areas listed above.

Chrissy also learned about Usui Reiki in 2008 and obtained her Level One training then. In 2023, she committed herself to finishing what she started and received the training she needed to be an Usui/Holy Fire Reiki Master through Kelly at Lunam Love. Chrissy has had major success giving reiki treatments to both humans and animals, in conjunction with medical care.

When Chrissy was in Kindergarten, she won first place in the science fair for a crystal experiment. Her love of crystals and knowing that they carried energy was known from that day forward. She knew that if she started a healing business that crystals, gemstones, and the like, would need to be there. She obtained a Crystal Healing certification and an Advanced Crystal Practitioner certification from Love and Light School of Crystal Therapy.

Chrissy has always had an obsession with technology. She built her first computer at age 17 with the help of her grandfather, who along with her mother taught her about cars as well. She has since taken classes, graduated with a degree in Interactive Web Multimedia, and has multiple computer/information systems certifications on the subjects. She has used the knowledge that she has obtained through her other job pursuits to create the Cyber Wytch offering and the Tech Tidbit Thursday Lives.

Everything that Chrissy has done in her life was in the hopes of using the valuable information she acquired to help others in their lives some how. She hopes that going Live on the AFA Instagram account every week and working with people individually and through yoga/qigong classes, that she fulfills this quest.
