If you have landed on this page you are being welcomed into the world of Aromatherapy.

What is Aromatherapy?

“Aromatherapy is the practice of using essential oils for therapeutic benefit. Aromatherapy has been used for centuries. When inhaled, the scent molecules in essential oils travel from the olfactory nerves directly to the brain and especially impact the amygdala, the emotional center of the brain. Essential oils can also be absorbed by the skin. A massage therapist might add a drop or two of wintergreen to oil to help relax tight muscles during a rubdown. A skincare company may add lavender to bath salts to create a soothing soak.” - Johns Hopkins Medicine

The quality of essential oils on the market varies greatly, from pure essential oils to those diluted with less expensive ingredients. And because there's no regulation, the label may not even list everything that's in the bottle you're buying. That's why essential oils should NEVER be ingested.

Do NOT self diagnose and see a professional!

How can AFA help me with Aromatherapy?

Christina, AFA’s owner, is training in Clinical Aromatherapy. This means she is qualified to work with and within a doctor’s office setting. She has studied for many hours about how oils interact with the body and each other. She has studied the best methods to administer oils properly. She will connect with you one on one and you will get your own personal oil bottle to suit your needs. There will be no magick involved, as this is a more realistic approach to your health and well-being. The bottle will even be tinted in either dark blue, brown, or green, as to not spoil the oils in their natural form. This is for an one hour session and consultation. You will have a follow-up email with the date and time I have selected with a *payment link, consent and intake forms, and Zoom call link.

*Please note that all payments must be made before the date and time of the call or you will not be receiving services from Chrissy
